THE DREAM

Last year I had the pleasure to enjoy a round trip with my family. We had finally the chance to drive a Hummer H2. When I first saw the Hummer I was like "WOW". I was kind of stun and got caught in that moment. I truly fell in love with that fancy car. But this was only a round trip in my vacation. I guess everybody has some kind of special experience from any vacation. But this one was different. As I came back to Germany I still was thinking about that car. So I started to dream that one day I got my own Hummer.
But at the same time I realized that this moment won't come in a long time. So I was kind of frustrated first but then I said to me, "you know what? You better do something to let your dream come true!"
I was motivated and ready to start something, but at that point without any game plan. How should I make the impossible dream come true without having any money?

 

THE IDEA

I thought about some possibilities and I realized very quickly that I can't make it when I do something quite normal. As soon as I told some of my friends about my dream they just laughed at me. But in the end that even made me more concerned and focused. I felt so much energy to start something different. I had to come up with something new and catchy at the same time. So I sat down and did some brainstorming. I thought about my vacation, the Hummer and all the impressions and feelings that I had.
And suddenly I had the same feelings, as I first saw the Hummer. I recognized the huge potential that was in this combination of my thoughts and the Hummer. The Hummer draws attention like nothing else on the streets, and this worldwide. In Germany this effect is even bigger, because you don't see many Hummers around here. I guess in any country except for the USA this is the same case. Or do you see a Hummer every morning on your way to work? I guess not.
Anybody I ask about the Hummer tells me a different story, and that's the point. They have a story to tell where or when they saw the Hummer. So if I would ask you, what would be your story? Remeber that short moment where you saw the Hummer coming around a corner or standing on a parking lot. I guess you had a closer look at the car or even took a picture of the Hummer.

You will agree if I say that for this short moment everybody is fascinated and focused on the Hummer. I can't really say what it is, and I guess it is something different for any one of us, what makes this car so special.
I guess you understand the excitement that this car generates. But how could I take advantage of that. First I had no answer and some days passed by, till I was on my way back from the gym. I was standing at some traffic light, and maybe you know some of these stoplights take forever till they turn green. So while I was waiting I looked around and my eyes got caught on some advertising of somebody's car. At first I didn't realize that, till I began to read what was printed on it. I guess everybody has experience with that, because even if you force yourself not to look at it, you will catch yourself looking at it within the next seconds. It's just the concept that works unbelievable effective. Within seconds it clicked, and I had this huge Hummer in my mind, covered with a lot of advertising. If you want to have success with your business, maybe you just opened up a new one or already have some business running, you need the attention. If nobody knows you, you won't make any money. There are many concepts to help you to draw this attention. Some work and some are just a waste of money.
But there is one thing they all have in common. They all work with images or specifically your logo. Remember brands like Nike or Coca-Cola.
Now imagine a huge Hummer rolling down the street and you are on your daily way to work. And you see that huge Hummer with your own logo on the driver's door. I can't think of anybody who won't see it and won't remember it. That's just ridiculous.
This Hummer will make your advertising even more effective. It doesn't matter where the Hummer is located. The Hummer is huge and generates this excitement and this in any traffic jam, the corner on the next block, in the parking lot or in front of clubs. This is the perfect chance for your company to reach as many people as possible. Another advantage is the option that you can use the Hummer within a big radius. THE MISSION
